Issues with 4.5.0

1) I’m now certain that with the introduction of 4.5.0 the old issue of fighters colliding with the carrier on landing has resurfaced. This was a nightmare of a bug that was previously squashed. It’s back with a vengeance in the new patch.

2) Also, with 4.5.0 I can no longer right-click on my fighters and issue them commands. This was not an issue in the previous versions. Was this deliberately disabled in the new patch?

3) When selecting incoming ASM (Shift+Y) the game no longer CTD’s (yea!). But I’ve yet to observe a PDB intercept an incoming ASM. Has the performance of the PDB’s been deliberately diminished.

Oh yea, great game! Is there a sequel in the works?

I have the same problem with the fighters, except I have to wait until their nose vector is pointed at the enemy and at a distance of less than 20. I posted this and also fighters that don't want to land but there was no response.

Just echoing Dirt12's questions - I've pretty much stopped playing because of 1) and 3) [:(]

Indeed... those crashing fighters are a real annoyance. Everytime you want to recover your precious little toys you gnaw your nails off and hope everyone makes it. I mean random crashes with badly damaged fighters can be realistic (damaging the whole flightdeck and reducing effectiveness), but that's not how it is now ;) Also that there is no collision detection when the fighters approach the carrier is kinda annoying. If your nearest approach-point is on the opposite site of the carrier they try to fly straight through it... makes them look well... odd =) (But I admit that's more of a modding issue with setting the approach-points appropriately).
