Adding Online play

Is it possible for a 3rd part developer to add H2H play over ...say an IP address? I'm just asking if it can be done. Or is there no way to do it at all?
David- or any 3rd-party MaxFB developers: why not add the free software from here ( http://www.kaillera.com/ ) to make MaxFB play H2H online?
