How this game compares to Strategic Command?
I have SC but not GGWAW

Buy it...short and sweet, they're not the same, but similar in scope, lots of different features, both fun to play, especially PBEM.

But........yes the old "ButtMonkey"

SC has the flavor of operational movement(maneuver), ability to personalize/historically designate combat units. IMO preferable, with the creation of "elite" units and commanders.

Now SC2, IMO, the TOAW of grand strategic wargaming on the horizon, the epitome of the genre.
