Hey I recently spotted the game was wondering if the Korsun Pocket is backwards compatible with this at all?
P.S I haven't played since the BIN demo came out.

No. All games only play in themselves. So scenarios made for Korsun play only in Korsun.

Back in 1992 ( or so) SSG created a brand new game engine and produced The Ardennes Offensive (“TAO”). Later it was updated and re-named TAO2.
TAO2 is still available for a free download but only runs on WIN 95 and WIN 98.
They took the same game engine, added new features and made Korsun Pocket.
But that game engine, circa early 1990’s has limitations. In 2003, SSG created a brand new game engine and produced BIN. BII uses the same game engine.
The game engines are soooo different they are not backwards compatible. But you can use the BII game scenario editor to make any scenario from KP. We have the data in KP and its needs to be duplicated in BII.

Well basically, what i think Joe is trying to say is that with a KP scenario, if you updated the battle so it is compatible (10 hours work approximated) then yes, it will run in BiN/BiI (depends on which one you're doing it for)

To re-phrase.
BIN and BII both have scenario editors.
Both can be used to create any scenario.
The data required for the Korsun Pocket scenarios is easily found in the Korsun Pocket game.
