spwaw - adjustments?

ok i can deal with the forced screen rez , and i can even deal with no sound controls .. BUT the scroll is just a major pain .. i select a unit , then i spend a good 20 seconds just touching the left of the screen , then the right , then the left in hopes that it will stop over the enemy units .. i touch the side of the screen and the view is all the way on the other side of the map!!
is their ANY way to slow down the screen scroll speed??? .. yes i can zoom out to about 20k feet abouve the battle , but then i'm just commanding ants , it would be nice to be able to change that a bit
