Love CHS so far, but am having a bit of difficulty transitioning from stock WITP Scen 15 to CHS Scen 155. There are lots of good stuff in CHS but I need some info. For example,
---I noticed that I have AKs scattered all over the Pacific, many of which are getting sunk or scuttled because I never thought to look in the East China Sea or down near Papeete or on Nauru Is. for them!
---Also, many of my reinforcement arrival locations and resource/HI/oil data are changed from the stock scenario.
---My AVG is getting torn up by Oscars and they normally ruled the skies in Scen 15.

Can someone point me to a PDF file, a Word file, or a particular thread that spells out or summarizes the myriad of changes made in CHS from the Stock scenario? When I downloaded CHS 1.0, I could not find any "README" or "WHATSNEW" files. Thank you.

However, I must say that formal documentation for CHS does not exist and probably never will. Modifying the scenario is interesting and fun. Doing documentation is dull and boring. Considering the rate of pay - I (for one) ain't doing much documentation.

Hah! Heck I didn't need those piddly little AKs anyways...serves 'em right

There's no 'Next Task Force' button, but you can use the task for menu and step through it.

Welcome to CHS,hope you realize you are experiencing a lot of the same "surprises" the Allies really suffered early in the war.(Lack of coordination,some unit integrity,etc.)
After you have had a chance to gather your forces and really study the situation *everywhere*,you will truly appreciate the situation the Allies were in early in the war.
If you lose a lot of ships early on,that's historical..[;)]
