Maybe I'm ignorant, but those look like japanese tanks to me. Type 95. That definitely has the ring of Japanese, not allied.

This happens when the unit is divided.It will restore original bitmap(and commander) when the tank rgt/1 joins forces[:)].This is an old bug(if it can be called a bug) and it's obviously not exclusive to chs.
