-In your opinion, what is the effect of max speed in the air combat resolution? And to what extent faster bombers (like the D4Y, Ki-67, A-20 and A-26) are able to survive interceprion due to their speed?

From what I've read on this forum, aircraft max speed and experience are the two biggest factors of air to air combat. So, increasing or decreasing max speed would have a larger effect than increasing or decreasing maneuverability.
However, I haven't tested this in any way.

It's confirmed.
One of the reasons Allied planes slaughter Japanese in late war.
Also, one of the highlights of Nik's mod (and an excellent one, if I might add [&o] ).
