Is TOS worth it?

I have been lurking just recently in this forum, looking for something different to play. I see that this program is at the end of it's cycle, and I'm wondering if it's worth my time and money to play it? Thanks.

I'd say yes. I've enjoyed plenty of games that were at the end of there cycles. And if enough people play it Matrix might be forced to make a sequel [;)]

Ok, I will give this a try. I hope the tutorial is good. I like a game that has some RP to it, and this seems to have some from what I can tell.
Thanks for replying.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'end of its cycle', but the game has been largely de-bugged. It runs very smoothly, has low system requirements, and is full of fantastic game play. An excelent game, in my opinion, no matter what its initial release date.

I am working through the tutorial now. I see that there is a strategy guide, that I will download also. Thanks for the replys.
I meant no negative in my comment " end of cycle", but just noting that the forum did not seem as active which usually indicates that the inital release excitement has worn off.

As far as strategy games, this one is a keeper! There's strategy in combat, how you deploy each AT in said combat, strategy in building each AT, and even strategy in creating your AT jocks. I have yet to see this one returned to my local EB store to be placed in the 'used' pile, which means other people like me are keeping it. Echoing the above statements, it runs solid, plays smooth, and sounds great, and to this day is fun every time I fire it up. Don't judge the game by any lack of Forum posts!
