Or can you only benefit from one leader per Army/Corps???

I read the manual but don't remember if it covered all the leaders in a corp or army as a combined modifier. Good question I would like too know my self.[:D]

I know that individual Divisions can benefit from the Division Commander, a Corp Commander if the Division is in a Corps, and the Army Commander. Therefore, a unit has the potential to benefit from three separate Commanders with all benefits being cumulative. I don't think there is any benefit for having two Army Commanders in a single Army however; the best Commander would assume command without any benefit from the spare commander. That is how I think it works.

For detailed combat, I agree. I too do not know if multiple army commanders in the same army (for example) would have any impact.
However, in addition to their 'broader' impact, each commander also accompanies a particular division, on whom they exert a significant impact (and you can swap them to other divisions during the battle). This 'rallying the division they are allocated to' is the most important use of leaders - during detailed combat, put good leaders with divisions whose morale gets low (or who have broken).

For quick combat, I have been assured by the devs that every leader present DOES have impact on the battle, including leaders in reinforcing forces who icons do not get drawn on the quick combat screen, and leaders in addition to the 3 who get pictured.

how do you switch leaders from unit to unit in detailed combat?

I've tried this in many different combinations and can't seem to get it to work.

G key should be working.

Multiple leaders in the same army/corps do each have a chance to rally units in detailed combat.

Quick Combat .. the manual says three leaders can help. And the game shows three pictures of leaders in a battle. Beyond that, who the heck knows what's happen 'cause the game sure isn't telling us anything.

In detailed combat, transferring leaders from unit to unit seems way to hidden. Its there once you read the fine print in the manual. But it sure ain't obvious to a player. And something about it made me always forget I could do it during a battle.

Divisions with a flag have a general attached to them.

What i do is move the division with the flag and general (let's name it A) near the other one (let's name it B) where i want the general to change.

When it is the turn of A to move, i move the cursor over B and press G key. Then the flag change from A to B.

Good "step-by-step" mariosa - quite right. But you don't need the units to be anywhere near eachother - generals can fly the length of the map in an instant.
