It appears that the AI moves diplomats into the sea zones sometimes and then forgets about them. I thought it was happening and this last game I paid closer attention and saw Jerome in the sea south of Sicily. He stayed there the entire game. Of course looking at his stats I can see why the French did not want to use him[:D]

I did not notice any other diplomats doing this - all the others I could see moved around.

Anybody else notice this?

yep happens when they are thrown out of a country. lots of AI diplomats in the sea that get forgotten...

of course i often forget mine when same thing happens and have to search all over for them [:)]
