From what im seeing they just sit there the whole game...

When I played ottomans, I sent my fleet up there and they came out to play a couple of times...

In the last game, a Russian Fleet was sighted off the coast of Albania. A large Russian Army was laying siege to the city there.

ok good to know! i guess they are just scared of me! [:D]


edit: yep i see them now they finally came out to play! but only after i moved my spanish fleet out of the mediterranean into the north sea!

Playing the Brits now, and currently not at war with Russia. I see their Fleet all over the place. I allready reduced the Swedish, French and Spanish fleet to nothing but privaters, the only fleet still with capitol ships is Russia, Austria and Prussia, though the Prussian and Austrian Navy does not really pose a challenge.

As Prussia, I have watched the Russian blockade Danzig and Konesberg(sp?) However, their army can never lay siege due to the pride and skill of the common Prussian soldier

Was that to over the top? I got carried away..

I had the Black Sea fleet sail past me at Constantinople with Benningsen and a corps aboard.

Needless to say, the Ottoman Gun & Knife show was in the Golden Horn that month.... [:D]

Russian ships did move, my france witnessed its frequent sending in of cossacks via the north coast with a naval supply line tracing to the Baltic. Nonetheless, playing Britain, I rarely saw their merchant fleets hovering around the Baltic as I thought they should have been there.

As Sweden I have had the AI Russian ships attack me while I was, uh, "incorporating" their buddy, Denmark, into the Greater Baltic Ocean Co-Prosperity Sphere.
