Ok, i know it's been asked a while ago but cannot find it with the search engine.

My simple and stupid question, after one year of gamepay, is.............

1-How do you understand from the Map if a base in the pacific is an atoll or a normal island?

but i have another question....not to open a new thread i ask it here....it's very simple:

2- Does the command "all to follow" works for infantry units in 1.60?

thanks in advance

Well, they TRIED to fix it, but now other problems have surfaced ("ghost units", etc.)

You wish![:D]

Problem is, the units are visible, but duplicates of the real unit, and not under anyone's command (except the computer's, maybe).

And though there is a work-around for the "ghost division" problem, it's really too annoying to use All Follow. Too bad, because the idea is a good one...[:(]

What's wrong with using the 'All March' command? I always use this and never have any problems.

Not "all march" - "All Follow" - has glitches (at least for some folk). I don't know if it is universal.

No, I mean the 'All March' command. It does almost the same thing as the 'All Follow' cept they leave at the same time. What was the purpose behind 'All Follow'? To make units arrive at a location at the same time?

Yep - supposed to do that.

The "all march" seems to work ok (i.e. - without glitches...)

EDIT: I personally use "all march" also - works pretty well, but you don't get simultaneous arrival of units.

I have just come back from a short break and missed most of the discussion opn this problem. I have started the Manchuria scenrio and have ghost units a plenty. As far as I can tell the ghost is the symbol of the unit arriving in the destination hex while the actual unit, unshown on the map, is still in the transit hex.I find if you leave it alone it corrects itself when the actual unit arrives in the destination hex.

Terminus mentions a work around, can anyone expand on this

And other than a display problem are there any other problems associated with the ghost units.

And finally, when I use "all follow" on several occassions I have the lead unit arriving in the desitination hex and the followers all sitting in the transit hex on 58 km a turn behind. Is this normal/correct?
