I have an army in enemy territory with a local depot. I have the army set to forrage, yet they always draw from depot supply. Save files attached (ZIP renamed as TXT)

ALSO - it would be nice to be able to have some units forage while others draw from a depot within a larger unit. I don't want artillary units disbanding due to low strength yet I don't want to feed all the infantry either. Right now, I must separate my army to feed them differently. For Army and Corp units, it would be nice if the supply button had 3 settings:
1. Forrage (as is an option now)
2. Depot Supply (as is an option now)
3. Defer to subordinate unit (new Option)

That way, my army could indicate to follow the supply selections of each corp or division attached. Likewise a corp could set supply for all units or indicate to follow the selection on each division.

This bug is easy to recreate.

Playing Spain, set every land unit to forage and go to next turn. All the land units outside of Madrid will forage.

Now build a Depot in or adjacent to Madrid. All formerly foraging units, regardless of supply preference setting, will now draw supply from the Depot.

I'm glad to know this affects other countries too. I discovered it as Turkey (whom it really, really hurts).

I've got this logged as a bug and will get it fixed.

I noticed fleets and ships have a forage setting but I haven't played around with it to see the effects. Is this a legacy option from land based units or are ships supposed to forage [:D] ?

Aw shucks... I've put your idea on my long-list of possible things... the hardest part is the UI since the button and data as it exists now is all yes/no.
