right click on the map, choose screens, game options

Oh my! This menu item is linked to the old beta tester options menu. How about that!

The "no fullscreen" option looks very promising. Doesn't that mean that an option for running in a window is already there and just needs an interface option to be activated? [:D]

no that removes the interface so all you see is the map

It's the option for what you get now with the DEL key.

When I was fixing the alt-tab issue I looked over the code and I might be able to make a Windowed mode in a future patch.
