Sieges

I started a siege in Grodno as Russia, and part way through it, my units just quit besieging. [:-] Any thoughts on this? Does it take a certain number of units to besiege a certain level of walls?? Or a certain ratio to the number of units inside the city? Can't find an answer to this in the rule book.

It actuly explains it well in the manual, but dont have it handy to give you the page number. Yes, there is a roll to see if you manage to siege the city, and yes, it depends on how many units you have.
