In one of my current game as axis i was confronted with an odd thing.
One of my axis subs were near the westindies and was blocking my japanese supply lines. I could not place a transport in the same hex and when trying to move nearby transport fleets the sub was even opp. firing me[X(]. I did not check if it would have fired as i decided not to move them at all. IMO this is more then only a game flaw.

This is normal. The game does not allow for units from different powers on the same side to stack - and even treats them as enemies for the purpose of op-fire. I do agree that the latter seems odd and would prefer it was changed.

Kewl so i m a bit puzzled....first remove Bombers so that sub is getting no opp fire, then moving sub,then moving transport without opp fire. LOL
Even a better combination would be...german fighter,japanese Bombers,german sub and japanese transports fleets...this would take me a hole saison to solve....muhaha or even a better one....put japanese Flak at the first rank. [:D]

I have thus blocked myself on occasion too (mostly with the Russian Navy blocking the English).

The best way is to keep well clear at all times.
