Is there any way to set the combat animation to only show up on combat you initiate? It's no big deal for Play-By-Email, but when running against the computer, it's really annoying having to constantly change the value every time my turn comes up and ends.

Sorry, its an all or nothing thing. There is no way to make it only show certain battles.

You can just click to skip to the end of each combat, not a perfect solution of course...
