have seen this in a few games, a side gives up the fight, you tell it what you want it to do, and then, it don't do it

shouldn't the war be back on then ?

Russia just gave up to me, I didn't want there land as I am too far away from them right now, so I told them to liberate a number of the Polish cities (that worked)

told them to give me 720 bucks (they had the money when I gave them the order) no money, and they are broke now (I only around 420 waste, so it wasn't given to me and wasted, I checked that first)

told them to declare war on Turkey, no go, but they did declare war on Hesse and Prussia (very smart move, Russia just lost some 120,000 Polish Army troops, beside the Garrison troops) and Prussia has been sitting idle for the last year and a half from they lost to me

they were Allied with Turkey, but, they lost the war, sides change

Treaties can't force nations to do things that violate the rules, such as give money that it doesn't own or to go to war against an ally or to declare war when it is otherwise prohibited (though we are considering making the declare war treaty clause break alliances). If a nation is not able to fulfill a treaty clause, the expected behavior is that it loses glory.

okay, they lose Glory then, I can live with that

hassle with the money, they had the money to start with, the AI played around with it, till it spent it all, then says it is broke, it should have to live up to the treadies first, then pay what it owns 2nd (IE, pay the money it owes, then pay for upkeep, bribes and what not)



any way to make the multi AI treadites work a little better ?

Russia went to war with me, because, Turkey asked Russia and UK to declare war on me, if it gave 700 bucks to Russia

why did the UK agree

besides the fact I had a enforce peace deal locked in for the next 3 years with the UK

LOL in fact, I had a enforce the peace deal signed with Turkey to boot, and they set up the war with the other 2 sides and also joined the war

the AI can't break the rules when it is given it in a treaty, but is sure can do what ever it wants to any other time
