DOWs on conquered countries.

Russia and Turkey declared war on Portugal at various times in my latest game, which would be all well and good exept that Portugal has been an integral part of La Mayor Espana for several years now.
Is this a bug? I checked the map and I don't see Portugal owning squat.

After I brought Portugal to my empire as a conquered, I still saw Portuguese ships raging on. It seems that we may yet send envoys abroad with messages about any change of sovereignty.
