what are best mods?

ive been away from this game for a long time. what are the best mods to use and what do they do?
I personally use any scenerio tied to CHS, but you can find other great mods at Spooky's site by Tanaka,Nikodemus,etc..
The best "mod" will of course be your own opinion if you are willing to try them all.
