Do leaders gain in leadership and inspiration as they fight battles or do their leader values remain static throughout the game? Also, what is the difference between "leadership" and "inspiration"? What aspects of game play do they effect?
What about rank? Is a 65 "leadership" admiral better than a 65 "leadership" rear admiral?

I thought the rank had some effect on the PP cost of changing the leader. I think it costs more to remove a higher ranked guy from his position.

AFAIK leadership affects how well they perform in combat while inspiration effects how well your troops recover there moral. I think it also helps with training and exp and is useful for rear HQ's where you have new or battered units are filling out

I'll have to make a note of all this. There are just so many interesting aspects to WitP that I haven't really gotten into depth on leaders yet. What a great game!
