Swenden decladed war on me a while ago, finally my troops are headed up into Denmark
and I finally run into a decent sized army, that will try and stand with my troops
there were 118000 French vs 129000 Sweds

got good weather for a change, but still only have time to deploy as is

Cav to the north was left out on the limb, to draw attention away from the supply and open flank of the arty north

it worked, you can see the first enemy Cav has made a run into the troops on the hilltop

as you can also see, they didn't hang around long, there is a broken Inf unit above the view of the line also, so two units broken in the first minutes of the battle

again, you can see there is a gap in my defence with the southern Arty, a Cav unit can charge right in, and nail it, but I am gambling, that they will not be able to get close enough to do damage

10000 Cav stop just short, and then the whole line opens up on it, my Cav does it's own charge

no more Cav Unit, it has been killed to the last man, poor guys, never got the chance to run away

the end results were not pretty either

nor did the grovement like the morale hit there people took after the news of the battle reached home

month two of the attack

when the war started, Swenden had a morale of 1000, two months later
it is in the -100s

that is a ruff way of going from starveing -5 to having plenty of food !!!!
