Few bugs in patch

In the basic game(before patch) i conqured Venetia and Ilyria and they both instantly became part of my Empire like conqured protectorates normally do.

In my first post patch 1.1 game i tried play france in the 1805 scenario. Anyway war went good vs the allies, and i took venetia, and illyria. Yet Illyrai didnt become conqured. On map it only showed as occupied.[&:]
After Austria surendered it returned back to Austria protectorate.
So anoyed I had Austria release it along with taking Tyrol and Cardolnia When released it was turned over with French stribes on the country and was part of my empire. Its not on country detail list :(

Now i wanted to try form the kingdom of Italy and the bavaria kingdom.
I could in the country detail chose to turn venetia into a protectorate. Yet on map it still stayed french empire province. "Says protectorate in country detail list".[&:]
Now i noticed also Tyrol and Cardolnia are not on the country detail list, so how can you turn them into protectorates ? For the kingdom bonuses ?

Bresh -
(a) Yeah, Illyria seemed to behave properly before the patch for France. Just not for Austria or Turkey. Now it is pretty equally screwy IMHO. (The 1st patch fixed about 80% of the "multi-province minor" bug - what you are seeing is the rest of it.)
(b) WRT the other protectorates - its not you, and I don't have a solution to wave at you. Maybe as a workaround you could use a treaty to free them, and then use cash and diplomats to turn them into a protectorate? I'm working on hacking the SVE file.

I have already gotten both of these issues on the fix list for the next patch.

Bresh - if you had Illyria behaving remotely sensibly before the patch, well, I reckon your the only one. Unfortunately, while the patch fixes about 80% of the "multi-province minor" bug, Illyria is squarely in the other 20%.

However, there is a workaround for you - to get what you want, you need to own Venetia, and then right click on Illyria and choose "Form Protectorate". The protectorate of Veneto will be formed, consisting of both Venetia and Illyria.

WRT the other ones you want to make protectorates, have you checked to see if you can free them using a treaty?
