Hello,
Thanks to all for the tips gleaned so far.
Playing as Allies.
China has resources and manpower. Factories in good shape. No production capability - listed as zero available with nothing in production.
Wad-I-do-rong.

China only makes stuff once every 3 turns. Its in the book somewhere?? Anyway, if Japan attacks inland with land forces, China will get its ass in gear and mobilize for war. Keep in mind, Japan can attack inland with air and not trigger this effect. More is available in other threads as this is asked by every newbee.

Its rule 9.1.1 in the manual if you want to read the details yourself.

Reading the rules is an integral part of playing board games - and I consider WaW almost a board game despite the computer format. The alternative is to wait till you oppornent teaches you the hard way

Actually, I started playing without reading the manual and opened it up whenever I got stuck. I am so hopeless [8|]. UPGRADE THOSE DESTROYERS! [:D][:D][:D]

Oh, I too played vs the AI without reading the rules initially. But I certainly did read the rules a couple of times before playing another human. It just seems inconsiderate towards your opponent not to have bothered reading the rules. Not to mention that its likely detrimental to your chances of winning.

Hello,
Yep, that was it. Thanks for the clarification. BTW, I have read most of the manual. Just have to read material thirty or forty times to remember every detail. It is good to get older. The alternative is a real bummer.

Playing a skilled human being without reading the rules? A bad idea if you want to win [:-]. AI is a different story though [:D]
