New Game-looking for east coast players

Hello

Looking to start a new PBEM 1792 highest glory wins.

Prefer East coast/central time so we can play at night after work. Would like to play 1 turn or so a night......

Not asking for your soul as commitment, just let everyone know when you wont be around to play.

Diplomacy via email....respond and we can then choose sides...looking for 4 or 5 players.

I'm in if it's ok that I will be on vacation from 8/27-9/3. I am willing to allow another player take my turn to keep the game going though.

I am on the East Coast and the optimum time for me to do my turn is around 9pm EDT.

I am online and available play during the east coast evening - can I call myself 'virtually' an east coast player?

Happy to play any nation - allocate one to me.
Use ralegh at rosesolutions dot com as the email address - it gets preferential treatment!

Someone else posted that having all players in the same time zone was actually counter-productive to having a fast turn around. I am in a pbem game now where the players are mostly in different time zones and we are averaging a turn a day. That said I am on the West Coast and send my turns out promptly and like the idea of a fast turn around. My email is zonsa AT telus dOt net.

Am new to Crown of Glory but would enjoy playing a minor power (Sweden, Prussia or Turkey) if you still have room. I am in California GMT - 8 and can be counted on for quick turnarounds.

Count me in! I'm in New Jersey.

I love the game, so you can count on me to do a turn or more a night.

Hi Sephrim and Falconius. This thread has taken a little while to garner some interest. I see The_Bug is on holidays for a few more days. Heckler and Ralegh, are you two still interested in starting a game?

Ok then we seem to have enough players. So the 1792 scenario and highest glory wins, what about game length? 10-15 years? We also have to state nation preferences and our working emails. I will take France.

Ron - France - zonsa AT telus dot net
Garoc- Spain - email?
Sephrim - Prussia - email?
Ralegh - ?
Falconus - ?

I would think Austria and Britain need a player. I agree about fast turnaround and keeping the momentum going. If you aren't committed then it is hardly fair for the rest of the players. Let's get this started ASAP then. Cheers,

Ron

Herr Sephrim, Koenig der Preussich-Berlin can be found at jtessier@devigneEG.com

Looking forward to my first game and hopefully a kind ally can help me with some of the finer details. :-)

Oh and I would prefer a shorter game: 10 years should take us to the historical Peace of Amiens.

a) I would like Britain I think - ralegh at rosesolutions dot com

b) When you set up the game Ron please set to Napoleon level difficulty - that will give some extra resource productivity to the AI players.

c) Everybody please note my post about the bugs in the SET POLICY screen. Unless you carefully make changes, you may find yourself supporting strange minors and declaring war on nations you didn't intend, as well as unable to make cease fires etc etc etc.

For another PBEM I am in, we are trying out a website where people can put the date when they finished their turn. It lets everyone know where the move is up to at a glance. Would we like a site like that too?

The website would be an excellent idea Ralegh, I like it. So the 1792 scenario, Highest Glory and 15 years. Falconius has yest to report in - shall we wait some or go ahead with the players we have? I am not so sure about the Napoleon difficulty level - I know Ralegh, you are a master with this game, but I think the rest of us are still newbies. What about a compromise on the difficulty level?
