im playing as germany in from 1940, its 1942 spring now
ive tried several times, but the russian territories seem unconquered due to the large amount of militas
any ideas???

Keep trying. You'll probably need to pull most of your troops off the western front and make sure you have plenty of supplies in reserve to keep your army moving.

I like to bring 15 arm, 4 ftr, 5 stukas, 3 hvy bombers, 1 para, I recon 12 inf, 2-3 art and maybe 8 mil for a 1941 Barbarossa. I dont usually go after Moscow during the first year though.

This is off the top of my head.

in many of my games (I play axis a lot), there really is little point in actually taking moscow or leningrad for that matter. IMO once the southern factories of russia have been wiped out, you can then isolate and bomb out moscow. after this it will take awhile for the russians to recover and you can turn to defending against the WA. of course this assumes there is little to no support being sent to russia by the WA to rebuild things after they've been bombed out..

russia will kick ass in this game if they had tanks like t -34s.

if you are facing a veteran,it's so difficlut to beat the su.when both sides gather large forces,assluting by land force is more dangerous than defacing,let alone you may lack of supply.and your losing will activate the wa to make D-day earlier

i think its difficult to go straight and take moscow as rus got tons of units available in the way. what i like to do is to wipe out its production first. same idea as aletoledo.

while rus can still gather tons of units in moscow, but w/ most of its PP destoryed, its tough for the rus to weight btw quality (armor vs infantry and research) and quantity. its just a matter of time for the ger to either bomb out (as suggested by aletoledo) or knock out by the nazi panzers [:D]

i think wipe out su's production is not an easy task while facing human player.you have limited pops.if i use arts and flaks together with the "one grid empty thoery"to fight you,i mean to make an internecine situation,then you can't suffer that loss.

agree that with GER's limited pop, its not that easy to do it alone. but with the help of JPN from the east, its not a mission impossible.

what about the 25 millia units the russians have inside moscow.their is no time to encirele and destroy moscow with your tanks.

a horde of militia can delay the process but certainly not prevent it from happening. it is esp true if the PP of RUS were wiped out by GER and RUS cant upgrade or even produce its monster armors. in that case, GER dont need to surround Moscow, all GER need is to attack it for two consecutive months with 10+ GER units and expect to suffer from 0 or min losses.
