battle size vs country surrender

I am sure its alot more fun to have battles of 200,000
plus per side but this is very much a rarity during this period. If the new version has regimental battles
hopefully smaller battles can be done as regimental and
have the flavor of these big slugfests.
My point on this post is that during my current game
(1805-1820) Russia was in constant war with me (France)
all this time. By 1815 I had 160,000 prisoners held
outside Paris inc the Tzar. Their national morale was
-835 or so. By 1820 the prisoner count topped 200,000
and Russian morale was -1090 yet Russia would never
accept a cease fire or peace treaty. I was smashing
armies of 20,000-80,000 about 7-9 times a year plus
numerous Cossack units.
I think and hope that a future patch or version will
have nations not hold out for such an incredible
period with such fantastic losses. Austria fell just
after Austerlitz/Ulm and Russia after Austerlitz,
Eylau, Friedland. This duel to the death is too much
(tho fun in the battles). Loss of a monarch and such
field losses and number of lost battles would force
any nation of the period into a ceasefire and then
rapidly into capitulation and peace (at least for a
while). I think it was mentioned about POWs being
counted towards casualties (they should be, your
losses in a battle would include dead, wounded, and
captured).
