Lunatic Allied player required.

Hi, Just for "fun" I want to try a game as Japan where my plan is to go for auto victory right from the start.
Stock scenario 15 version 1.62
No house rules.
Turn 1 I won't target USN CV and Allied player can give orders in China. (China only)
surprise on historical turn 1 off
No auto subs
1 day turns
Allied sub doc off
Jap sub doc off
Allied DC on
Player defined upgrades on
variable reinforcements
Allied player should know what he is doing and accept the fact I'm trying to win the game not fight the War in the Pacific I will do things in this game that I do not do in my other games.
I might invade USA, I might attack Soviets, I will not pay PP unless I have to in order to load units on ships or move airgroups
I will exploit the Japanese turn 1 movement as much as possible.
The Allied player must be willing to write the AAR because I don't have time and I'm not going to try to explain my plans in advance so the Allied AAR will record the plan after the fact.
I will not end the game if I fail to get the auto victory but will fight on till the end so you have that to look forward to. The Allied player is not bound to any house rules either after turn 1. He can "play the game" as well.
No whinning in Emails (drives me nuts) Whine away in the AAR.
I can do many turns a day so you won't be bored waiting.

It's tempting, really tempting. [;)]
I'm overbooked, but if you don't get anybody else soon, I might reconsider.

Mogami don't scare me. [:)] Let's see just what he can do. I can figure out how to hide for 6 months. [:D]
Before you accept MOg, I can only do one turn a day, 2-4 on most weekend days. Do you really want surprise OFF? Shouldn't you take surprise ON with Vary start OFF.

And here I thought I might have a chance to grind a really experienced Japanese player to powder.
Oh well.

Hi, I wonder if I can handle 2 more players? I'd really like to play DP and Tom.
OK what I will do is get 2 games started and once I get past the opening in those I'll start two more. Thats enough lunatic play because i have a hard time with this sort of thing to start with and don't want to become too jaded being mean.
(Just how many lunatics do we have out there?)
Nomad,Oleg,DPStafford,Tom Hunter
(I still have to make time to test WPO I should have it running tonight)

I think I'd pay to read a normal AAR on a game between Tom and Mogami. Not the one Mogami has described in this thread, but a game where both parties put reality into their plans.
That'd be some good reading. And we could expect an AAR that would last for at least some time.
(of course, it'll be interesting to see any AAR about this thread as well)

Hi, My major problem with WITP is that for me it is more work to write AAR then it is to play and I have so many games that there is little time for writing AAR between doing turns. I only read/post on the forum while my email is being sent. Then I down load the next turn. I do turns from around 5am to 11pm. Sometimes if I get caught up I take a nap in the afternoon and send turns till 3am. While I enjoy all my PBEM (or I would not play them) I have become an assembly line and relie on the other guy to write the AAR.
I have a few games with no AAR (Bosun,Oleg,Ozy,Lee) (none of my Japanese opponents write AAR??? [X(] )
If I do it right none of these 4 games will last longer then 390 turns.

That's why a game between you and Tom would be great. Tom writes a GREAT aar. And, both of you seem to be very competent players. That would make for good content in the AAR, and combined with a good author.........
But, I feel your pain. Sometimes there just isn't enough time in a day for all you want to do.
