French-made Panhard ERC Sagaie armoured car in UN colours. I want to say Former Yugoslavia, except that civilian appears to be black...

Somewhere in those areas, those trees appear to be pine trees and theres dry sandy soil

I'm very sure the French have sold those armored cars to qualified buyer members of the UN.[:D]

Actually not that many. Production of the ERC commenced in 1979, and they were made for Iraq, Mexico, Niger, Argentina as well as France.

An armored car from Niger as part of an all African UN peace keeping force in?

I was also thinking sub Sahara along the Gold Coast a lot of civilwars the past 20 years or so.

You may be correct about the former Yugoslavia location.

United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR)

1992 to present (Not sure as too date referring to present)

Troops, Police & Observers were present from Black African Nations.

Force Commander was French - French Troops 4,493

Personel, Troops, Police & Observers from:

Ghana
Kenya
Nigeria

The orange soil certainly looks like Africa, I don't know if it could be MONUC in Ituri, Congo or anything similar.

What I was reading from wasn't to current and alot of what I new to be pretty old all said "to present", which I new was not correct.

Thanks for the info from the image source.

I was curious as to why it appears dry in that area, got out my NG map of Africa and Rwanda is at the head of the Great Rift Valley, that explains it.
