What is the best way to handle the med fleet for the allies if the axis is going for Gib. After move 3 the Med is cut off. Is it better to combine the E Med and Gib fleets and keep them in the med, or bring the E med fleet outside or just leave the E Med fleet there until the bmb show up and then retreat into the Suez?

Any advice appreciated.

If the Axis properly prepare opportunity fire in the W and E. Med., there is little prospect of forcing the Axis fleet out of the Central Med, and therefore little hope of uniting the fleet. The best move, given this gambit, would be to leave the E. Med. entirely and hold on to the straits at Aden guard the exit from Gibraltar.

You will lose the Med. But given the changed victory conditions, enough untis should survive to hold safe the Indian Ocean and protect the vital N. Atlantic convoy route.

So, attack turn 1 if favorable, otherwise run.
