in a game with wise-01 ive got my bombers at a 10 land attack. in the manual this is equivalent to an a-bomb. does this only apply with auto vic ON? i bombed his infrastructure, the attack ruined everything i hit. havent bombed units yet, but im wonderin this: his panzers have an evasion of 9 i think, you'd think an a-bomb would wipe out his tank unit right? or am i wrong? could someone explain this to me or direct me to a thread which discusses this? thanks men.

Rules do say that if you have your bomber land attack at 10 you are considered to have the a-bomb. Doesn't say every time you use your bomber you are necessarily using an a-bomb though. With Allied AV turned off perhaps you should consider it that the Allies have developed a very powerful non atomic bomb, or perhaps simply a much more precise bomb/bombing technique. As you know, even after developing the atomic bomb the US continued to use regular bombs for all but 2 of it's bombing runs. But with a 10 attack you will get 9 dice against his 9 evasion tanks (10-1 for the armor) which would give you an average attack of 31.5 vs his defence of 27. So you stand a much better than 50/50 chance of getting a hit.
