Scrolling Map Problem

Hi, does anyone get a half second of jerkyness before the map scrolls smoothly using the mouse? It's rather annoying as most of the scolling is of a small distance so it becomes very noticable. The odd thing there is no delay when scrolling south - but there is in the other 3 directions. Any ideas of anything I could try to fix this?

Yes. Mouse movement is hesitantly jerky on my system as well.

I wonder if only two of us have this problem. Does everyone else have no problem with scrolling in games? Maybe my PC is too old but I think the spec is still fairly good?

World at War is playable but a bit sticky with scrolling. Julius Caesar is only slighty laggy - but to me it makes the game unplayable. Rome Total War works fine with the tactical battles but the strategic map scrolling is so slow it makes the game unplayable (some people on the RTW forum say this is a problem with Nvidia cards (driver up to date))

I'm playing Half Life 2 with no problems at all yet I can't scroll a map with recent wargames it seems. Getting fed up buying wargames even though I love them. What gives?
Games like the Campaign Series and Panzer Campaigns, Battleground Waterloo and Campaign Waterloo have comperable graphics and scrolling is no problem.

(Also playing World of Warcraft with no problems)
