When I try to play it says.........Fatal cant load\dat\art.txt

What can I do, I can't find my disk's serial number (I bought the game at a store).

Am I screwed?

Probably need to reinstall. You can find your registration number in your registry. If you don't know how to do that, you should email support@matrixgames.com and hopefully they can give you the details. Good luck.
