I'm having some crashing problems. When I click on a sub route...like a CA that is in port...it crashes to desk top. I have some other things like no art for the P-38F.

I know little about computers and have nothing to do with CHS {other than playing}, but I believe you need to put the CHS arts files in.

Which CA? If it's the Utah, then it sounds like you need to have the right graphics file loaded. That happened to me before I loaded CHS correctly.

I reloaded the base again...and it did the trick. Do you have to execute that dos file each time you restart your computer?

I never do. Once it is set, it should be good till something changes it.

I have a problem with fog of war, when i start scenario 155, i put FOG ON, but when the first turn is resolved it turns OFF automatically... [:(]

Nobody has ever reported these kinds of problems with CHS that I am aware of.
On preferances, some have reported with "vanilla" WITP that you need to save your preferances after playing a full turn or 2 before it will "hold".
