Helicpoter passengers and combat - rule 19.4

Post by Adam Parker »

I posted this on the LnL site, maybe someone knws the answer here:

Can passengers which disembark from a helicopter (using half their movement allowance), assault fire if possessing the ability (the moved marker will prevent them from direct firing of course)?

The rules explicity state that vehicle passengers may do so (even though they're marked with a moved marker too) but are silent for helicopter passengers.

Thing is the rules don't say that disembarking helicopter passengers can move with their remaining movement allowance either but I just assume they can.

Thanks,
Adam.

Adam

There is a lot of similarity between vehicles and helicopter so I would say yes, they can unload and fire or unload and move up to half their movement allowance. Make for interesting "film scenes".

Cool and the helicopter then could fire normally in its hovering state as unloading doesn't cost any MP nor does assault movement apply to it.
