Eric has been working trying to get the AI to put up a better fight

6 Cav Div were able to out flank me, which I had gambled and tried to take one in the flanks, but disrupusted mine (that was when I found out, 6 Divs and not 2 had outflanked me)
the Stream and hill saved my bacon once again

50,000 Spainards went down, to 12,000 French
but did get a new General
havn't had a chance to try out the new How's yet (they take a while to build !, shortly I should have 4 of them to place into a Corps made just for them)
