How Did I Miss This One?

Only just noticed this thread. The battle of Crete is one of my to favorite campaigns, the other being Market Garden and the battle at Arnhem bridge and Oosterbeek in particular. I have undertaken a major study of both campaigns and walked the battlefields of Arnhem/Oosterbeek and Crete many times. Can't wait to see this one hit the market place.

Well it won't be long now. Tell your mates, spread the word, COTA's coming.[:)]

I too am excited about a Crete game. Far more so than The Bulge (East front...east front..east front...)

Well, I am also very excited about the Crete game, but in my case I am even more excited about the Bulge game. I can hardly wait to play battles from the Ardennes offensive with this game engine !!!

I second you Tx, on the western front there is hardly one battle (I think) that is more exciting than the Ardennes.

In that case I hope you didn't miss Highway to the Reich as well!

I never purchased Highway to the Reich as I already own Airborne Assalult and I could not see any clear differences between the two games.

How about three extra large maps, hundreds of estabs, 30 new scenarios, two years of AI and interface development just for starters.[:)]

Same story here : the RDOA demo even didn't do it for me - it felt too cramped and limited. Was very doubtfull about HttR, but took the plunge and absolutely fell in love with it. Couldn't keep my mouth shut about it and for my sins they made me a beta-tester of CotA :)

If you love Arnhem you owe it to yourself to play HttR - it's the definitive game on the subject

Well said, I could not agree more.
