One of the few announcements really worth a "w00t!" [:)]

The info on the first "next-gen" CM game was very disappointing to me (I've had enough of games featuring the US beating up on assorted Arabs), but I've budgeted the money for this puppy already.

I totally agree,

IMHO they turned CMX2 from a must have to I will wait for the demo.

Too bad CL doesn't have one of these, or if it does we may never see it. I don't care to much for the CM treatment to battle, having played a demo, but this sure makes it tempting.

Wouldn't that just be amazing? (sighs wistfully [:(] )

BTW, further news on CMC that's really made my day. It will ship with a whole new CMBB .exe that just overwrites the old one. No big deal for US purchasers, but for us Euros lumbered with the cdv version its time to wave goodbye to the dreaded (but awfully politically correct) 'wafflegrenadiers' forever ! [:D]

Dang yall beat me to it. I was fixing to link this one for you guys.

I'm simply too excited for words (almost) haha This is like what I've been waiting for out of the Combat Mission series forever. I was so disappointed in the announcement of CMSF that I didn't think anything would bring me out of the depression, but, this announcement has perked me right back into life again.....I can hardly wait for the release and you guys know me I rarely buy anything upon release but I will be there with you drooling for my copy as soon as it can get to me. ;) And I read it's only going to be around $35 also, very nice and fair price I think, all wargames should be around that price. ;)

Matrixgames should take a lesson from this ALL GAMES NEED A CAMPAIGN MODE, then a nice tactical mode afterwards. Crown of Glory sorta comes close, but, it's Napoleonics and has too much mincromanagement. I think this new Combat Mission Campaigns is what wargamers really want, give us our army/division/corp whatever and let us FIGHT thru the war with it, with all the silly micromanagement left behind. ;) I think Mad Minutes next game 2nd Manasses is going to do it like this also.

Did Combat Mission have a campaign mode? Where's the lesson?

Also I haven't read anything (maybe I missed it) about leading an army or a corps through the war. It sounds, and frankly should be, impossible with a tactical game like CM.

Heh I've been on Hydrocodone (sp) for awhile now, this leg pain I've got has been killing me. Might have Multiple Sciloris or blood clot, I'm too chicken to do the mri, I can't stand closet like atmospheres and I did one once and thought I was in a coffin alive. I keep telling them I want morphine, but, am not getting it. I swear I've never been shot, but, if I were I'd almost bet this pain has got to be near close to it. It feels like something is inside my leg and just ripping and clawing and tearing the muscle tissue over and over and over again and gawd if I cough I wish someone would shoot me I think the pain would be less. My lower leg/foot tingles constantly like it's asleep feeling. Have had this before and it went away in about 6 weeks, but, this time it's not acting like it's going away.

So, if I said soemthing stupid, I probably meant something else. Time for a Cyclobenzadrine now. ;)

Well, I guess you should better be taking the "coffin" for the 20 minutes it takes and do the MRI, otherwise you´ll probably end up with one leg less or even worse. This is not something to joke with.

Now it´s only tingling, tommorow it is black.

ravinhood ,

Do the MRI as Marc said, its really not as bad as most make it out to be.

PS: Make sure they check your eyes for metal before you go in [;)]

Ravinhood,

Don't take chances with that, bite the bullet and do the MRI, seriously. I hope your health improves and I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through.

Regards,

- Erik

There are Open MRIs now where you do not feel so confined....I am the last one to preach about going to the doctor though, since I have not been to one in over 25 years....
