Future Battleground Updates and enhancements

Personally, I would like to the battlegound series updated, while there are alternative(s) out there for both ACW and BON sims, the series had some unique aspects that enhanced its playability and haven't been duplicated by any "more up-to date" versions as yet. In its day BG was the standard and with the right updates could become the standard again.
