I understand you being upset about giving away points for the aesthetic effect. The designer in the future will compensate for that by giving you some easy extra points to start with. That help?

Grenadier is the major proponent of this feature and yes, it was done on purpose.

Amphibious assaults just don't work with the AI in control going up or down. The AI overpowers this by making them move horizontally. Only with a human player can you overcome this problem.

Maybe that can be changed someday, but right now it is no joy...WB

Thank you Image Yep, the fact that those wrecks were counted 'against' me was the irritant. Not a big one as the final score isn't that important, but I though to mention it.
But it is a neat thing that there are wrecks in the field, it gives more feel to the scenario. Like in the Close Combat games where the maps were littered with old tank hulks after few battles.
Oh and it's not necessary give those easy points, why not just put the cost of those wrecks to zero?

Perhaps a feature could be added that would add some wrecked units to the random scenarios? They might be handled as terrain elements and not part of the force?

Kinda thought it will still be this way. I have to tell you I was very amused when I first noticed this...I think I was trying to play some Omaha Beach scenario for SP3 and after few turns there wasn't a landing craft in sight Image
