48TH DIVISION TELEPORTED IN CHS

I am playing CHS 1.6-the 48th division was marching to bataan, then teleported to bangkok. Is there any way to get it back to battan?

Did you just do an update? Similar thing happened to me when going from 1.71 to 1.72 Beta. Mine was in Malaysia though. Thank God for RR's and they got back relatively quick. You have a little more work.

Looking back on the history of teleporting on the forum it seems more to do with doing an updating versus any particular update. Makes me crings when I update now...

If an unit teleports it's a good thing, I lost a Tank Rgt in one of my game while updating. It was no more on the list of ground units, neither aboard a ship or in the reinforcement list. Of course this was in Australia just before the Allied advanced to retake Darwin...

I agree, teleporting is much better than vanishing. I moved a CD unit to Tarawa thinking what a surprise that would be when an Allied fleet drops by for a visit. It vanished never to be seen again the turn after it finished unloading.

I had to give up on a game when I lost both the 48th and 33rd divs. 48th was on PI and the 33rd was embarked for Bangkok. Both units were not on the list of ground units.

I've quit the game entirely because of the disappearing units and other bugs. The game took way too much of a time investment to justify playing with all of the errors.

Since CHS involves NO code, I don't think it is CHS that teleported it. It is something in the WITP engine. And we probably don't know what it is. But IF you have a save of the turn BEFORE and AFTER the teleport, Matrix will probably fix it, at least in terms of including revised code next mod. I had B-26s appear on a Japanese carrier in UV, and they fixed that!
