Gloster Meteor. Adolf Galland once said that his dream jet fighter was the Me-262 with Gloster Meteor engines. German maneuverability with reliable British jet engines. Galland flew both types during his career.

After the war, Adolf Galland went to live in Argentina, and helped organise and lead the country's air force. That's where he got to fly Meteors.
