A Few Questions About the System

Hi all,

As a result of MarkShot's terrific AAR, I've been wondering about:

1/ Does the system provide for differing unit quality or proficiency??
2/ If so, then do higher quality/proficiency units generally move/attack "faster" (as in before) than less proficient units??
3/ Does this apply at the formation level as well?? e.g. A high qulity formation would be less likely to suffer extreme orders delay than a less proficient one due to superior command and control etc. etc.

Thanks!

Rob.

The system provides for individual unit attributes and individual commander attributes. You can see some of that in the left side panels of my screenshots.

When I played the scenario for the AAR, I had looked at the commander attributes prior to tasking the 141st. Regt and the 143rd. Regt, but they were so close that it was neglible.

Yes, there are individual attributes for units and commanders that affect how order delays function. It is also impacted by the degree of micro-managing you do. (meaning do a lot and the game simulates overloading the HQ staff) It also impacted by physical distance from HQ units involved.

Dave could tell you more how the mechanics work.
