Hi Guys

Well November 22 is the release of XBox 360 and I am sure I will be standing in line to get my pre-order first chance I get. My two sons are going crazy waiting and I was just wondering who else was planning on getting one.

Consoles just dont do the games I enjoy.

I wrote the faq for Dai Senryaku VII and am a huge console gaming fan (since the days of pong). I am hoping that DSVII plays on the XBox 360 but alas I'm going to wait on purchasing one until the hype dies down.

My son has made sure its on my priority list of things to do [:D]

Last console I purchased was the PS2, mainly for the three Medal of Honor games. I suppose if MOH: Airborne sees the light I might get one, but barring that I don't really plan to.

Knowing the two bandits I will buy one, just to kick their butts next time I'm in NY [;)]

My son has one on pre-order, but we just got word that The allotment coming to the store he pre-ordered at got cut in half, so there is no word on when he will actually get it. According to the store manager, M$ vastly undersestimated demand and it may be well into January before all the preorders are filled.

He has a buyer for his current X-box and may go X-box less for a couple months...something that wouldn't hurt him in teh least.

What are the X-box 360 games most waited for?

You're not going to make them wait until CHRISTMAS to get it? Awww cmon where's the fun in that? The begging and swearing they'll do anything if you'll just let them have it NOW daddy will be a memory you'll never forget. There's nothing like having the upperhand on your children and if they are young you better enjoy it while you can, once they reach teenage status, you'll just be mr. moneybags and taxi cab driver.

In fact you have to buy the "expensive version" to get the HD AV cable (or buy it seperately).

I am Inventory Control Manager for a Books/Music/Video store and we haven't got word on how many we are getting yet...they promised us a demo for in-store use that we were supposed to get three weeks ago but it never showed. We are just hoping to cover the reservations we have sold right now.

Didn't they pull the same "We vastly underestimated"for the release of Xbox also. I mean come on just come out a say their production capabilities have not yet meet the demand.

No same mistake twice
In 2001, I bought X box when it first came out
I paid almost Canadian $ 650 to buy an X box, one additional controller+2 games (Halo and Project Gotham Racing)+ DVD adapter.
Halo is the only game that I enjoyed on X box (in fact the only game that I finished on X box) and then it is just collecting dust

Considering I've now owned an XBox for all of a couple of months, I don't see upgrading any time soon. Before that, my last console was a SNES, so you get the idea... [:D]

If you are a strategy gamer with an XBox you really should check out Dai Senryaku VII. It's the latest in a VERY long running series of strategy games though only two (including DSVII) have been localized for English gamers.

PS: The last Daisenryaku to come to the states was Iron Storm on the Saturn.

It looks like it is very similar to 'advance wars' on Gameboy advance?
Am I correct about it?

On surface, it also looks similar to Shattered union, game that I purchased recently and which I am deeply disappointed and regret paying full price for it.
Maybe DVII is much deeper one?
