hi all,

I make a mod who replaces the originals *.bmp of each class of ship by historicals photos resized
it's the 1.03 and you have all IJN class (BB,CV,CA,CL,DD,MLW,PT,SUB...) and BB,CA,CL of USN...
All photos of class have the same size (250x72) and are compatible with fire and smoke effects...

I think this is a great option.... I'm sure it takes a good deal of time to locate the correct pics for each class....[:)]

Yes it's a very long job : research on net, import jpg, convert, resize photo for the game... but i like it [:D]

It was tedious just FINALLY getting my avatar to work, let alone all the photes you edited. But I really wanted to get a picture of my ship into my profile.

Tofke, I was checking these out at Spookies the other day. They look great. I didn't realise you had done the allies as well, that's made me a happy man.

I noticed several ships which you didn't have pictures for. Maybe if you post a list some of us could try and help you track some down any missing

I have not checked if the ship slots are different, but I suspect they are..Will your mods work with CHS and line up with the same ships ??

No they aren't different and i don't know if the mod is compatible with CHS (normally yes because it's the same *.bmp number like originals) i just replace a picture (bmp) by a photo convert to bmp.

Could somebody post a surface combat or ASW screen using this mod?

the mod changes only the picture in description screen of ship (look all screenshots of this post),

for surface combat or ASW screen the game uses another directory *Ship_Transp and i dont use it...[:-]
so my mod dont modify screen combat...[;)]
