I haven't played TCP/IP multiplayer in years....even though it's a total blast.


So I'd say 99% AI....1% MP
0% PBEM

I have always played against the AI. Since I usually jump from game to game and from platform to platform, I could never give the attention to a game that is needed for online play.

For me, it is 100% AI.

AI - 100%

I used to PBEM quite a lot... but now it's AI 100%...

Currently 100% AI

100% PBEM H2H.

The AI is a pushover.

I go through phases a couple of times I have played only HTH PBEM but when I'm not into doing that sometimes I like to play a scenario over and over again vs AI to see how fast I can do it. Other times I like to write scenarios and use the AI for testing. In the CS series the one I like the best for AI play is Rising Sun though I like it the least for HTH. I do not like the idea of network play because I do not like waiting for somone to do a move no human is as fast as the AI. When I Hot seat I start two diferent games on two computers so that we can each be doing a turn on a game instead of waiting for the other guy to finish his turn. When I PBEM I like to play a lot of small games at once.

In my opinion, the best feature of the CS games are the LCGs....

The AI is halfway competent when it plays defense.....it also sets up excellent ambushes with it's AFVs!

I haven't really had time for PBEM lately. I am sure I will eventually start up again.

do not like the idea of network play because I do not like waiting for somone to do a move no human is as fast as the AI.

I so agree with this, and one of the primary reasons I don't like to play online. I just don't have the time to wait for my opponent to meander through a turn. That, and I prefer the longer scenarios.
