I am interested in diving into PBEM, but as i've only been playing for a little bit I am quiet inexperienced and was thinking of maybe trying the Rising Sun scenario to give me some experience during those first few months.
I would like a very experienced jap opponent that is willing to talk(discuss strategy, give ideas on what i should have done in a situation...that is..after i've been crushed [:)]) and to be patient with me so that i can learn the nuances of the game.
Of course i'm not playing to win, i'm playing to have fun. So a win or lose for me is based on how well i did as opposed to history. I think I can handle 1 turn a day during weekdays, and maybe more during the weekends, that depends.
On house rules, I'm so new to the game I wouldn't know if i was doing anything gamey. I tend to roleplay as I play, so I am not one to exploit the game system for a quick victory.
Anways, in summary, I am looking for a good experienced japanese player who is willing to help teach a newbie the ropes of PBEM in the Rising Sun scenario.
