AI and Modded Maps/Scenarios

Hi all,

I'm a new player, and someday soon I'll get up the nerve (and time) to challenge a live opponent in PBEM. At the moment, though, I'm still learning my way around with the AI. Having discovered Andrew's excellent maps, I now have some questions:

1) If I have a separate installation of WitP with Andrew's map, and I have installed scenarios specifically intended for that map, can I put the CHS into the same installation and still play the other scenarios? In other words, does CHS installation interfere with any other scenario's data (aside from the art files)?

2) Is it worthwhile to try scenarios (either CHS or others) built for Andrew's map against the AI? I know a human is always better, but will the AI at least fight as well on the new map as it does on the original?

3) I've seen mention of new bases that the AI doesn't seem to recognize (Bora Bora, for instance). Is there a list of all of these so that I can avoid exploiting my computer?

Thanks!

[EDIT:] And another thing while I'm at it: are the art files required for Pry's scenarios already covered by the art in the CHS base pack? Or must I choose between them?

Here's another question on a similar topic:

There is no "first year" scenario for Andrew Brown's map, although of course there are full-war scens available from CHS and others. If one (or two) were to play just the first year of the war in a full-war scenario, would the victory calculation be the same as if playing a dedicated first-year scenario?

Another way of asking this question is, what *is* the first year scenario other than a full-war scen with a new ending date? Are there major changes?

To first two:

1. CHS won't interfere with other scenarios.
2. I think AI is bit more surprising in Andrew's map, plays little different in CHS1.06 for example.
