If the WAllies occupy Russian territores can the Russians take the territory back after WAllies have moved all of their units out of the territory. Ex - Russia is at the brink of being taken over by Germany. WAllies land troops in Archangel to help push back the Germans. If all WAllies then leave Archangel can Russia take over the territory again? I've been looking in the manual but haven't seen anything on that scenario.

I cannot test this right now (at work) - but its very easy to test yourself.

Play an all human controlled hotseat game.
Have Germany take some of Russia.
Have the WA take the area from the Germans and then vacate it.
Have the Russians try to attack that area.

As you are playing all the sides it should take less than 10 mins for you to find out. Please do let us know how it works out.

Generaly many such questions can be answered faster and more accurately in this manner - compared to reading the manual or searching the board. Afterall, the game itself is the definitely judge to what can or cannot be done.

Never thought of trying that. I guess that's why they pay you the big bucks. LOL I did try your suggestion and unfortunately it didn't work. I took over the Baltic States, Liningrad, Karelia, and Archangel with Germany. Then used the WAllies to take over Archangel and then pulled them out. Wasn't able to move any troops into Archangel with Russia. Thought maybe that it might be different if you threw a factory in the mix so I then attacked Karelia and Liningrad and then backed out all the WAllies troops, but same result. Game displays a message that it was an illegal move.
The reasoning for this is that in Russia's case they can get hammered pretty bad initially, as is the case in my PBEM game, got attacked by Germany earlier than I anticipated. So I took over Archangel and Karelia with WAllies but didn't take over Liningrad because I didn't know if I could give the factory back to Russia, who needs it more at this point in the game.
Russia is realistically the only country that this would benefit but you never know given the multitude of possibilities in the game.

Just kidding. I am a player enjoying my hobby like yourself so I am not on the payroll relative to Matrixgames or 2by3.

As for your result. I was pretty certain that was the case too but I figured it would be better if you saw for yourself

Appreciate the help. Although it would be nice to add the capability of giving back the individual regions so that original owning country is able to get back their resources and factories.

Forgot to ask, who would a person email regarding requesting the possibility of adding this ability to the game?
